Plotting DOS

Hello Akai users
I want to plot DOS curves with gpd program. I follow the instructions
in the Releasenote file. However I have the following message

aelamiri@aelamiri-Vostro-1540:~/Bureau/test/cpa2002v009c$ gpd 'total_dos.dat'
Illegal file specified
Usage: gpd file
---------------------------

Please refer BBC 6221 thru 6227. These are the same as that of the code included in the package. Note bash and csh differs.
